The Cause

MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to finding cures and treatment for muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research.

The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.

Our Central New York office serves over 600 families who are affected by muscular dystrophy in the nine counties surrounding (and including) Onondaga County.
